The Cancer Epigenetics and Biology Program- IDIBELL Foundation will organise the meeting IDIBELL Cancer Conferences on the Cell Cycle. The meeting will take place at the Hesperia Convention Centre on 26th-27th November 2009.
The goals of the meeting are 1) Discussion of the state of the art in cell cycle regulation and the latest advances in that field. 2) Facilitate the knowledge transfer between researcher and set-up new collaborations. 3) Promote the researchers (PhD student and postdoc) interchange at international level.

The meeting will begin on Thursday morning, November 26, 2009, and will conclude on Friday afternoon, November 27, 2009. The goal of this meeting is to highlight the latest advances in cell cycle regulation in a broad spectrum of experimental organisms. The ICC on the Cell Cycle will host approximately 125 attendees, including 15 invited speakers. Since the amount of participants will not exceed 125 participants early registration is strongly recommended. The 15 confirmed invited speakers are international leaders in their fields. The meeting will be open to established scientist, PhD student and postdoc interested in the cell cycle regulation and cancer.

The programme will be organised in three sessions on:

• 1) DNA replication/genome stability/checkpoints.
• 2) Chromosome segregation and mitosis.
• 3) Cell growth/development/cancer.

Every session will have 5 talks of 30 min and 3-4 short talks of 15 min selected from submitted abstracts.
